It is that time of year, when we can get away with dresses and bare legs or stockings. I have been getting questions about how I combat this change in weather. At this time of year, it is about 40 degrees in the morning and 75 degrees in the afternoon. Sound like a cold will be coming soon. Here are my top five tips on how to stay temperature appropriate.
1. Always have a jacket
When it gets chilly out, don’t leave home with out your jacket. Here are some cute ones that are great for this time of year.
2. Wear Sheer stockings
By wearing a pair of sheer stockings, when it is chilly in the morning you will be just fine sipping your pumpkin spice latte. Transitting to the afternoon you will be just fine for afternoon shopping. Here are some with uber cute patterns I have been loving.
3. knee socks
Yes! gotta love the knee socks. Here is a trick I do, if I find myself wearing a summer dress in the fall (you know the kind that doesn’t look good with stockings)! I wear knee socks for the chilly mornings and remove them when it gets hot out. Or why not just wear them all day with a cute skirt… examples yes see below!
4. Wear your boots
I am a huge HUGE fan of boots and bare legs! Rock it, this will be the only time of year to get away with it.
