How to Get Rid of Writer’s Block

Hi, remember me? I am the blogger here at mypurplescarfblog.com I feel like I should reintroduce myself to you because it has been a while since I’ve written a blog post. I was going through a bunch of crazy things, thinking about if I should change directions about what I want to talk about and just finding the time to sit down and write a post with both of those thoughts my mind I kind of wanted to quit.

Over the last couples of days I’ve been posting DAILY for Blogmas and it has been so much fun. I figured I should say hello and welcome

I’m here and I decided that I should just stick with what I love simply because I love it. I don’t need to morph the blog to focus on other things I love too. This is my space on the internet and I can add and take away topics as I please and it will be okay… as long as it reaches and touches one person that’s the goal.

  1. Remember why you started writing. I really needed to remind myself why I love doing what I do here. I really missed the photoshoots, putting looks together and just talking about fashion and fashionable things.
  2. Be Passionate. Once upon a time there was a passion that lit your heart on fire forcing you to start embark on your writing journey.
  3. Be You. In my situation, I felt lost in the crowd, and didn’t know what direction I should take things. Not having an understanding of what kind of content I want to produce, made me want to take a step back to think things through.
  4. Make time to write. I have 50 million things going on in my life and I felt like I was running a mile a minute. Burn out is real, make sure you take the time to rest.

I hope these tips help you if you are experiencing writers block like I was.

Also, if you did miss me, I have still been posting over on Instagram pretty much daily and I would love it if you would follow me over there.

I hope you all are having an amazing summer! Happy Writing 😃
