Last week, I think I spent every day in bed. Apparently, there has been some sort of cold going around and I caught it. How fun! I’m feeling much better now, but in honor of my departing cold I wanted to share with you all an amazing outfit you could wear lounging around the house or even if you’re sick.

On days like this, I like to keep my look pretty simple. Black pants and a t-shirt, basically anything that is comfortable to wear under a robe. It makes such a difference when you find items that don’t restrict you. My brother actually purchased these pants for me for Christmas. I love them!

Lately, I have been so into slippers. I think I have to agree with all the other bloggers out there when they say, these Ugg slippers are so comfortable to wear around the house. I love them and I can say they are so worth it. If you have the money to splurge on these slippers, I strongly recommend them.

Fall Fun List

Now that is is September, I think it is only fitting that we start talking about what fun things we want to do this fall. Fall is my favorite season for activities. I always plan big things but rarely get around to the things I am excited to do. This is going to be my year, I plan to do at least two of the items on my list.

Weekend Recap

Hi Fashionistas!

First let me say sorry there was no post yesterday. I have been doing the most. Which means I have not been planning my time as well as I should be. To keep it really real, I have been watching Power in my spare time and I’ve been sucked in! No excuse, but I’m here now!

This weekend I had a blast! I went to a friend’s wedding and after a few of us went to the Baltimore Harbor and  hung out. I’m excited to share the day with you, I never take photos when I am out, typically I like to spend time with the people around me, but since I did this time I wanted to share them with you. img_0183-1img_0184img_0178img_0182-1img_0154

Summer 2017 Reading List

Hi Friends,

Happy official first day of summer! Hopefully that means life is going to slow down enough for you to stop and smell the roses or at least read a good book 🙂 I have been getting back in to reading lately and I have been loving it. A fashion blogger I follow always gives the best book reviews and each time she provides amazing books that I always love. I enjoy thrillers… one of my favorite books is Gone Girl, and I have a few book reviews I plan do in the near future. Until I get that together here are books I am looking forward to getting my eyeballs on 🙂 Happy reading!

What’s in My Gym Bag

Today I am giving you all quick fitness check in. I am happy to share, I am pleased with my progress. I have been working out consistently for about three weeks, which was a big goal for me… be consistent.  While preparing to go to the gym today, it hit me. Maybe you would like to see what I bring with me to the gym.

1. Work out clothes
On a normal day, I head to the gym straight from work. Which is why my gym clothes are in my bag 🙂 just in case you were wondering.

2. Headphones
I need my headphones in order to work out. I really have to emphasis this point. There have been times when I left my headphones home and would skip my workout because I wouldn’t be motivated to do much without music.

3. Micellar Water
I like to wipe off my face makeup just incase. I am crazy when it comes to keeping my skin in the best position possible. I say, better safe then sorry. Another easy option is makeup wipes.

4. Wet Wipes
People are gross, I like to have antibacterial wipes with me when things are not looking as clean as I think they should. At the gyms I go to, I have noticed they ran out of disinfectant spray. I went home that day, and put my wipes in my bag imminently.

5. Perfume
After a hard work out I still like to smell like a lady. So I spritz myself just a little to freshen up. My mom always tells me “you never know when you may run into someone.” Scentbird provides a great service, you can get a 30 day supply to try out before you make a big perfume purchase.

6. Water
We have to hydrate.

Spring To-Do List

  1. Go on a road tip- As long as I am not the one driving, this is the best thing to do on a nice warm day. It is the best when you hop in the car and drive to a place you haven’t been before and spend the day exploring.
  2. Start gardening- I have to admit I don’t have a green thumb and don’t have much interest in planting, on the other hand things look so much better when you plant some pretty flowers in you front yard. I did this for the first time in the fall and loved the way the yard looked.
  3. Ride my bike- Let me ask you, as an adult have you been on a bike ride? If you haven’t it is one of my favorite things to do. The weather has to be just right, if you take a leasure ride with amazing scenery you will love it too!
  4. Run 3 miles in 30 minutes- This is a new goal I have set for myself. I am not the best long distance runner, but there is nothing wrong with striving to be better. I love to work out and challenge myself. I will keep you posted and let you know if I ever succeed.
  5. Stop and smell the roses- I tend to run myself very thin. This spring I want to take more time for myself and relax more.
