Perfect Spring Jacket

Jacket: Nordstrom Rack ~ Shirt: Target ~ Pants: TRUNK CLUB ~ shoes: T.J. Maxx

We had a few days of really comfortable weather this week and now I ’m excited about spring. If you are new around here spring is my favorite time of year. There is something about being able to spend time outside with it not being too hot or too cold. Don’t even get me thinking out the spring runs and outdoor workouts.

I am starting to round out my spring basic wardrobe so you can have quick outfits that will always work when you are in a pinch. HInt jackets will be involved.

Hi Friends, Happy Tuesday!

Don’t you love a dress that makes your life easy? It looks great with everything helping you get out of the house quickly in the morning. When shopping for these dresses I like to look for fabrics that won’t wrinkle easily, which makes it low maintenance. I’ve talked about how I love to have a dress that can be worn with sneaker or heels.

I’m happy to say I think I found the perfect everyday dress that meets all those criteria.

My Striped Fall Staple Dress

So… I love stripes. I went back and forth about keeping this dress when I got it in the mail. I decided to keep it, of course, but I have to say it is one of the most versatile dresses I’ve come across in some time. I plan on styling it in various ways because I can imagine dressing it up or down for the fall. This is your warning you will be seeing this dress a few more times this season.

Normally, I loathe wearing white pants. I never find a pair that is flattering on me. I really wanted a pair a few months back and found these in American Eagle, I did a blog post on them here. After wanting these pants so bad I realized I still can’t wear white pants in the winter. These pants are so comfortable, and because of that I am forcing myself out of my comfort zone and making myself wear these amazing wonderful pants.. All Year Long.

What is one way you are trying to force your self out of your comfort zone?

Gray Hoodie

Hi There…

I don’t mean to talk about the weather as often as I do, but I have to say, the weather has been so nice lately. Honestly, I can skip winter every year. How is the weather where you are? img_9407_fotorimg_9373_fotorimg_9402_fotorimg_9327_fotorimg_9398_fotorimg_9341_fotorimg_9394_fotor

I have been wanting this hoodie for a while to wear with one of my leather jackets (outfit coming soon). I decided to keep my look simple today, because sometimes that’s just the way the cookie crumbles. There are a lot of times where I just throw on a hoodie and that’s my outfit. I tend to have more of a casual style, I love to dress up just like anyone else but when you just want to hang out and relax… all you need is a good hoodie. I was on the hunt for the perfect hood and decided to go with the H&M basic hoodie. I don’t shop at H&M to often but I love their basics. Have  you all noticed there clothes are a little more true to size, if not big. Once upon a time I couldn’t figure out what my size wore in there for the life of me.

Fall Outerwear Basics

Untitled #10
1. Pancho: A wool poncho is great for those chilly days or nights. They are so easy and just be thrown over any outfit, while still looking super cute and stylish.
2. Denim Vest: this piece is amazing on those days that are a little warmer and all you need is a light layer.
3. Trench Coat: Everyone should invest in a trench, it is a necessity. Especially when the mornings start to get cooler.
4. Puffer Vest: one of my favorites. A sporty way to layer with out wearing a winter coat.
5. Field Jacket: my fall staple. I live in field jackets in the fall. It is cool enough to wear a jacket but not cold enough to wear a coat.
