Happy Valentine’s Day Friends!!!! I would be remised if I didn’t tell you all to have an amazing day! I pray you all have a chance to spend today with a loved one!
Yesterday, I posted about an upcoming trip. Y’all, I am so stressed! I haven’t packed and my flight is Thursday. Why do I do this to myself? I always think I have so much more time than I actually do! My to-do list is getting longer and longer. I still have to make sure I have all my ducks in a row for the blog too. What in the world. Normally, I take the day off prior to a trip to make sure I have everything ready and set to go. I didn’t this time because it is so close to the holidays and I wanted to preserve my leave. Crazy.
Okay, I think that is enough venting now on to a more positive note. When do you all start decorating for Christmas? I watch a lot of youtube and everyone has already started. I am getting tempted to start decorating as well. It is so pretty and I would love start but don’t want to go all out because it is still early. Same thing with shopping for gifts? I am ready to get started and get it out of the way. I love love love wrapping presents.

Welcome to October! This is the month were I put away my summer clothes and break out my fall (and winter) clothes. That means it is not time to break out the high boots, and I am so excited about it. In the next couple of weeks Frank and I will be making our bi-annual shopping trip. I am making a list of all the things I will need for this season. I am such a nerd about how much I love planning and organizing my closet.
ONE– Tan Trench Coat // TWO– Herringbone Blazer // THREE– Tan Wool Coat // FOUR– Tan Twill Jacket // FIVE– Tan Moto Jacket // SIX– Black Bomber Jacket // SEVEN– Olive Embroidered Jacket // EIGHT– Black Trench Coat
I wanted to start a series here highlighting various stores to share with you what I and planning on purchasing. I am starting here with Old Navy, because I am actually planning gone making a purchase soon with many of these items. What are you thinking about purchasing for the fall?
Happy Thursday, I am so excited the work week is winding down. I don’t have any plans for this weekend and I am okay with that. I know this sounds really boring, but I plan to do much needed housework. Welcome to adulthood lol. What are your plans this weekend? I hope it is something fun 🙂
A couple weeks ago I decided to take a walk, in Old Navy, when I came across this top and I fell in love with it. I know there is nothing really special about it, but I new it would go really good well with this skirt, it also looks really cute untucked. I’m sure I will do a post on that soon. I actually wore this skirt for my engagement photos three years ago. Let me tell you about these shoes… I found them in Ross, they are so comfortable, y’all, they were $30. Winning!
First let me say sorry there was no post yesterday. I have been doing the most. Which means I have not been planning my time as well as I should be. To keep it really real, I have been watching Power in my spare time and I’ve been sucked in! No excuse, but I’m here now!
This weekend I had a blast! I went to a friend’s wedding and after a few of us went to the Baltimore Harbor and hung out. I’m excited to share the day with you, I never take photos when I am out, typically I like to spend time with the people around me, but since I did this time I wanted to share them with you.
Here are the shots from the Baltimore Harbor. Like a bunch of big kids we went paddle boating in dragons and walked around exercising our large dinner from earlier.
Now if this outfit doesn’t scream summer to you I don’t know what will? I love love love this shirt. I almost paid full price for it because I loved the way it felt. Luckily, it was on discount when I got to the register. These pants are really old from Banana Republic Factory. Honestly, your clothes hold up so much better when you invest in them. I think I am on year three with these pants. It helps that I only wear them a few times each year, but they have held up very very well, through stains and parties. The shoes, I don’t even know where they are from because they are so old.
So I am frugal, and I never buy things full price. That said, when I buy something full price I have to love it, ALOT. So I bought this dress full price from Banana Republic at that. I have been a fan of Banana for years. I love how their clothes fit me. Their dresses are the perfect length. I don’t wear a lot of heels so having my dresses hit right at my knees is exactly what I look for.
What called out to me about this dress is that it is essentially a basic dress, with a splash of fun. Oh and that is exactly how it wears. It is so comfortable, the fabric amazing!
