Happy Tuesday Friends–Yesterday I did a bunch of nothing. It was amazing, I relaxed and went to the movies. There was no stress, no decision making, just living. It was much needed. Now that I am back to work, it is a new week of outfits. This weekend I pulled out the rest of my winter clothes that were stored from the summer. It was like going shopping, but with clothes I already own. There were so many clothes I forgot all about over the summer and glad to be wearing them again. Do any of you all switch out your clothes for the seasons? I want to go into more detail with this process and switch out my clothes based on spring and fall as well. Seems like a bit more work, but would be so worth it if it seems like I just made a huge shopping trip.

Deva Curl

Hi Friends,

If you can’t tell, I have curly hair. If you have ever watched my YouTube  Channel you will find a few tips and tricks I use to keep all this hair under control. Recently, I discovered the Deva Curl line, just to let you know in the beginning of this post… the products are amazing! As of now, these are the only products I’ve used from Deva Curl and yes I love both the One Conditioner and the No Poo Shampoo.

A few months ago I decided to try the line, and I loved it. I went through the travel sized products quicker than I would have liked and never purchased them again. Until now, but this time to got the regular size. This buying this product maybe one of the best hair decisions I have ever made. I really like this line it makes washing your hair so easy. Last night I washed my hair and it took all of 30 minutes, this means I got 15 minutes back into my day!!!

Seriously, if you are in the marked for a new shampoo and conditioner you should try these products. After washing my hair it was so soft and so easy to manage.  Detangling, which is usually a chore was so easy.

MY HAIR DRESSER CANCELLED ON ME!

No shade, but this picture was taken of me last week and I don’t want this style for my wedding.

So, I had my hair dresser booked for about 2 or 3 months now. When it was time to confirm, her response was “Oh, I can’t do it.” WHAT, what do you mean you can’t do it. The wedding is a week away! I had to take a deep breath, stretch, do a few backflips and summersaults, then go into crisis mode!

Originally, the plan was to have my hair dresser here in DC come to the hotel and do my hair. Early on in the planning my stylist told me she would not be able to travel to me and it would be best if I came to her.¬†Unfortunately, I will not be able to travel to her because she is to far from the hotel and I will be pressed for time and I don’t want to stress. The only other option was to get my hair done on Thursday afternoon, and try to make it last until Saturday, and it may rain. My amazing maid of honor is currently woking on getting me an appointment with her hair stylist. My fingers are crossed hoping I can get an appointment on Saturday morning. Pray for me!

Life Lesson- Always have a backup scheduled, just in case because you never know what is going to happen.
