I talk a lot about being comfortable. I can’t express enough how important it is to me be comfortable on my casual days. I can’t imagine myself having a relaxing day wearing something like tight jeans. Torture!

I find myself constantly on the hunt for cute yet casual clothes. Enter the faux leather leggings. They have been a staple for me on the weekends since I have purchased them. Granted I am just wearing leggings, the different texture makes the look more put together which is my goal. I actually wore these pants a few post back, see them here.

I had been looking for leather leggings for so long. Of course I didn’t want to spend too much money on a pair of leggings. So I diligently waited for a sale to come around and I found one, at Express. I have to say, I am glad I made this purchase. A good purchase is when I wear the item over and over.

I love how the leather leggings are great to dress up or even wear with sneakers. I have a trip coming up soon and I image I will be wearing them on the flight. More on that later.

Also, I love this coat too. It is not the warmest but with the weather not being freezing lately, it has been working out for me.

It is a cold dreary day here in the DC area. Most of the time you will find me in a trench coat to avoid the chill, but sometimes I just want to switch it up! Welcome my leather jacket. I get so much use out of it and it is really really comfortable. I really wish I would have shown you all a picture of this super cute shirt with out the jacket (it has flutter sleeves). Not to worry, I will bring it back out soon enough.

A leather jacket is a great alternative to wear when you just need something to throw on and keep you warm. I love the details of this jacket. Plus it is loose enough to wear a sweatshirt under it if you choose.

Stay warm today guys!

Hi Friends!

I am sorry I have been MIA this week. It has been such a busy week.

This outfit is perfect for those chilly days. Can you tell I don’t like to be cold? One thing I love to do is layer with light jackets in the spring. Typically,  I would start wearing this complete outfit then as the sun starts to warm the day, I remove the (faux) leather jacket and just wear the hoodie. If it is really hot outside, I would remove both jackets and just wear this super cute tee. I love army print. I think it is the olive green that gets me, it is one of my favorite colors to wear. Do I need to talk about these jeans again? lol Are you sick of them yet? Sorry not sorry, they are still my favorite.

Let’s talk about my hair, this is one of my go to styles when I don’t have much time, but need to do something with my hair. It is so simple! Do you all want to see more of my go to hair styles? Let me know and I can share them with you.

Casual Wear

This is by far one of my favorites outfits I have worn in some time. I love how comfortable it is! On the weekends I spend much of my time running errands and getting stuff done! One of my favorite trends right now is the athleisure trend. I love it. I am a huge sweatpants and hoodie girl. I played sports all throughout high school and I love to be comfortable. Sneakers… give me life! I believe I may have mentioned before, I have been having foot problems and since I have been wearing sneakers more, my foot have gotten 90% better!

Happy Tuesday!

Do you ever have those weeks where you know you should be on vacation! That is how my week has started. Most likely it is because of daylight savings time, all and all I have been feeling like I need a vacation. Anyways.. How cute are these shoes? I found them in the clearance section at Macy’s many years ago and I look forward to wearing these gems every fall. They are so comfortable, and even though they are combat books they have a feminine flair (at least to me). Whenever I wear them, it make me feel like my outfit has an edge to it. I like that. I found this jacket for an amazing price at TJ Maxx, a few weeks back. I needed a new leather jacket and this one may have come with a hood, but it was not with the jacket and they marked it down to a discounted price. I love it when that happens.
