Happy Friday Friends!

This week has been a crazy busy week. I am sure you all noticed I had a difficult time posting this week. Just know, I am here today with an outfit that would be perfect if you work in an office setting.

In the winter I wear a lot of dresses and skirts, which means I live in tights and stockings. It is always fun to wear colored tights for style and to keep you warm. In my opinion it just add a element of fun to an outfit.

I found this jacket a few years back at Target but you can find the current season here. The plaid shirt is from the Gap (similar here) and my skirt is thrifted, but is  J Crew . I usually get my tights from Target which has an amazing selection of colors and prints.

Afternoon in the Park

This has been one of my favorite outfits I’ve been wearing this summer. If you can’t tell, I love to wear simple and easy outfits. Even the hair… all I do is wash and braid two simple French braids and I am good for about four days. Short sweet and to the point (just like this post!)

August 28- Weekly Pins

I love Pinterest! Typically I use Pinterest to get ideas about pretty much EVERYTHING. I pin and research so much stuff on Pinterest. I decided that I would start to share with you all what I have been loving on Pinterest this week. Who knows, it may be something I do on a regular basis. Here we go.

I found this outfit. I love the chambray shirt under this dress. I am pretty sure I will be recreating this outfit this fall.

I am trying to get in my last summer looks before Fall! Something about this big hat just makes me think of the amazing summer heat and trying to keep the beaming sun off.

I have actually be looking for a skirt like this all summer. So coming across it on Pinterest I had to post it. This outfit screams transition to me.

I have been looking for a simple watch with a clean face, when I came across this pin I loved it. I like how the straps are striped.

I love stripes and floral! This is such a light an effortless way to mix prints!

Why I love Summer

I am so glad the weekend is finally here. This week went by fast, but I am glad it is gone.

Recently, I was having a conversation with a friend and she said that, she is so glad the weekend is here. Thinking of how fast this week went by, make me think, we are almost halfway through summer. Soon it will be getting chilly and I will be counting down until next summer. OMG having this thought made me so sad, I am always so sad to see summer go. I just want to hold on to it forever!

If I could hold on to summer forever I would love:

1. To have the sun beam down on my skin, making me feel warm.

2. To spend every moment outside, just because you can.

3. Take long walks when the sun starts going down.

4. Having long days.

5. Wearing outfits that are always comfortable (in the winter I always feel like I have to put on more clothes).

What are your favorite things about summer? What will you miss most when the weather gets cooler?

What is your biggest fear?

I will not disclose what they are. When I have fears they are borderline phobias. Talking about them, I don’t even think I will be able to get through this post. I am going to face my fear BUT I WILL NOT PUT IN PICTURES!  I had to clear my mind right not to avoid thinking of the SCARY THINGS!

1. Opossum… I can’t

2. Snakes

3. Nocturnal Animals

4. Cats

5. Things that are not the correct size (weird I know!) but look at this!

What Does Halloween Look like to me?

In my older age (late 20s) I have started to be come more and more uninterested in Halloween. The perfect Halloween night for me would be watching a marathon on my favorite scary moves. I am BIG into scary movies, understandably they are never really scary to me but I love them!

Check out my instagram for more on what I will be doing this Halloween.

My Childhood Dream Job

When I was younger I wanted to be EVERYTHING! There were a few careers that I really wanted to do!

Actress- The first job I remember ever wanting to do. I think it was because I love moves, because I loved them so much I wanted to be in them!

Doctor- I have always had a love for health. I think it is so cool to be able to help people in a very specialized way.

Fashion Show Producer- Top Model did this to me, this was my favorite t.v. show in high school. I loved the final episode and I said to myself that is what I want to do!

Hair Dresser- I have always loved doing hair. I didn’t want to go to college, I wanted to go to beauty school. My mom then talked me into going to college and maybe going to beauty school after.

Secret Service Agent- When I first started my career, I helped a group of students tour Washington DC. I was able to learn so many things myself. What the secret service does was the coolest of them all!

I did end up going to College and getting a degree in Fashion Merchandising, then going on the get a Master’s in Organizational Communications. Today I work in an office setting using my communications degree, kinda.
