The first thing I do when I get home is put on a pair of sweats. I feel like I should provide that justification to you all because it will explain why I am constantly posting about comfortable clothes and lounge wear. I believe you should always strive to look your best no matter where you are. I can honestly say, I don’t own a pair of pants that I would never wear outside. It took me a while to get to this space.

I’m sure you heard of the book “The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up.” If not, I highly recommend it — it’s a quick read too. The premise of the book is to get rid of anything that does not bring you joy. For me that was having sweats that I would be embarrassed to wear out of the house. So why keep them? Exactly, I don’t. That being said, I do own quite a few pairs of sweats and lounge pants. If you choose to wear them, make sure they look good on you.

This outfit is something I would wear if I have been hanging out in the house all day, but I have to make a quick run to the store. Also, this look works when you are going to hang out over a friends house and there is no need to get all dressed up.

Last week, I think I spent every day in bed. Apparently, there has been some sort of cold going around and I caught it. How fun! I’m feeling much better now, but in honor of my departing cold I wanted to share with you all an amazing outfit you could wear lounging around the house or even if you’re sick.

On days like this, I like to keep my look pretty simple. Black pants and a t-shirt, basically anything that is comfortable to wear under a robe. It makes such a difference when you find items that don’t restrict you. My brother actually purchased these pants for me for Christmas. I love them!

Lately, I have been so into slippers. I think I have to agree with all the other bloggers out there when they say, these Ugg slippers are so comfortable to wear around the house. I love them and I can say they are so worth it. If you have the money to splurge on these slippers, I strongly recommend them.

Hi Friends,

How was your Independence Day? I had such a good time! I went over a friends house and we spent the entire evening eating and playing Monopoly! It was a perfect time. At the end of the night there were fireworks… fancy that on Independence Day! Did you do anything fun over the holiday?

About this outfit: lately, I have been traveling up and down 95 more often then usual, I will be traveling this weekend and again at the end of the month. Needless to say I have been living in sweats (shocker I know). I just have to be comfortable when traveling. I like this outfit because it is easy to wear and comfortable. Instead of looking like a bag lady when traveling I like to find a cuter alternative. You  never know you may want to run into that outlet mall as you are driving to you location. I also like to take my shoes off in the car, so wearing these slides I can slip them on and off quickly.

Low Key Days

Hi Friends,

So sorry for the lack of post last week, I was under the weather for majority of the week. Which is how this look came about. I spent much of the weekend of the couch in these sweats. My little brother actually gave me these as a Christmas Gift. I wanted to go down a size and was on the hunt to exchange them. Turns out they are discontinued so I decided to keep them and I am glad I did. They are so comfortable and warm.
