Take the time

A few days ago I saw the most amazing thing. There was a homeless guy pan handling on the side of the road. He walked up to a car that was near him. The driver thought he was going to beg for money, but he was making an odd gesture with his hand. Turns out he was reminding the lady in the passenger side of this car to buckle up. I thought this was one of the most touching things I have seen in a while. This man who was in a bad situation was still reminding those around him to be safe.

This got me thinking. We should all try to do something for someone else.

Have you seen anything that moved you lately?

Blogmas Day 15: No shopping

It’s that time of year when we have to remember it is better to give than it is to receive. With that being said, every year around December, I stop buying things for myself and focus on what I can do for other people. I wanted to share this with everyone out there reading this, and challenge you to do the same thing. Think about all the sales that are going on right now, FYI there are some really good ones too, and buy something for someone else. If you do end up buying something from that amazing sale, maybe you can find a way to do something nice for someone.

Think about a time when someone did something really nice to you, and how good it felt. xx
