Hi Friends,

In the spring and summer my family visits the Baltimore Flea Market and Bazaar (mostly for the food) but we always have great time. One particular time we found a stand that sold these dashikis. All the women in my family purchased one. I had mine stored in my closet for quite sometime. After I purchased these boots, I thought they would go really well together. It was actually a very comfortable outfit. The boots added that touch of something special ūüôā

Hi Friends,

So sorry for the lack of post last week, I was under the weather for majority of the week. Which is how this look came about. I spent much of the weekend of the couch in these sweats. My little brother actually gave me these as a Christmas Gift. I wanted to go down a size and was on the hunt to exchange them. Turns out they are discontinued so I decided to keep them and I am glad I did. They are so comfortable and warm.

Happy Friday Friends!

This week has been a crazy busy week. I am sure you all noticed I had a difficult time posting this week. Just know, I am here today with an outfit that would be perfect if you work in an office setting.

In the winter I wear a lot of dresses and skirts, which means I live in tights and stockings. It is always fun to wear colored tights for style and to keep you warm. In my opinion it just add a element of fun to an outfit.

I found this jacket a few years back at Target but you can find the current season here. The plaid shirt is from the Gap (similar here) and my skirt is thrifted, but is  J Crew . I usually get my tights from Target which has an amazing selection of colors and prints.

Happy Tuesday! Today I am sharing with you the shoes I have had my eyes on for the spring. Lately, I have been loving sneakers and more casual outfits. Don’t get me wrong I still love my dresses and had to add dressy shoes to the mix as well. If you can tell I am not into heels (well high heels). I have come to the realization that I like my height and I have to try to preserve my feet. Usually when I wear heels for a long period of time I get an ache in my foot for a couple of days. So, this year I packed up my highest of high heels and moved to more comfortable styles.

Hello There… Happy Friday Eve!!!

Guess what guys, I have another weekend that is going to be low key! I am so excited. I don’t have much to do this week. Plus… it is going to be warm again!!!!! I have no idea what I want to do but trust me I am going to make the most of it. I am so excited to do NOTHING! What do you all have planned for the weekend?

On to the outfit! Lately, I have been looking for basics, including jeans. I like to find things that can be dressed up or dressed down. Which is honestly one of my favorite looks. While searching for said basics, I found this super comfortable sweatshirt. I love the color, one of my favorite colors to wear is army green, I have a jacket in the same color for about five years and I look forward to wearing it every spring, plus everything matches.

Gray Hoodie

Hi There…

I don’t mean to talk about the weather as often as I do, but I have to say, the weather has been so nice lately. Honestly, I can skip winter every year. How is the weather where you are?¬†img_9407_fotorimg_9373_fotorimg_9402_fotorimg_9327_fotorimg_9398_fotorimg_9341_fotorimg_9394_fotor

I have been wanting this hoodie for a while to wear with one of my leather jackets (outfit coming soon). I decided to keep my look simple today, because sometimes that’s just the way the cookie crumbles. There are a lot of times where I just throw on a hoodie and that’s my outfit. I tend to have more of a casual style, I love to dress up just like anyone else but when you just want to hang out and relax… all you need is a good hoodie. I was on the hunt for the perfect hood and decided to go with the H&M basic hoodie. I don’t shop at H&M to often but I love their basics. Have ¬†you all noticed there clothes are a little more true to size, if not big. Once upon a time I couldn’t figure out what my size wore¬†in there for the life of me.

Stylish in the Office

Happy Thursday Friends!

I have another outfit suitable for a business casual look. So for you who work a 9-5 this is perfect for you. img_7828_fotorimg_7660_fotorimg_7789_fotorimg_7658_fotorimg_7745_fotorimg_7661_fotor

Funny story about this outfit, I actually wore it on my graduation day. Back in December I graduated with my Master’s degree, it was freezing outside and I know I didn’t want to wear heels so this is what I came up with. I was comfortable all day.

I found this dress on the sale rack at Banana Republic. I love their dresses, they are the most comfortable, never to short and cute for business attire.

I hope you all have an amazing weekend, I would love to hear all about it. Leave me a comment letting me know what you are doing.

Feather Light Tee

Hi Friends!

We are halfway through the week, how are you all holding up! Can you believe Valentine’s Day is next week? I don’t have any plans as of yet but I am certainly looking into something.¬†img_8592_fotorimg_8596_fotorimg_8606_fotorimg_8607_fotorimg_8608_fotorimg_8646_fotorimg_8671_fotorimg_8731_fotor

It was so cold and windy this day, and this shirt would be amazing in the spring. I am impatient and wanted to wear it this day. I thought it would be a great shirt to wear (with a coat) for a casual Valentine’s Date. Initially when I picked up this shirt I grabbed my normal size and I didn’t think it was cute at all. Then I found another shirt that I thought was different, but when I tried it on I thought it was soo cute. Turns out I picked up an XL and I loved it!

Mid-Winter Wants

Hi Friends, Happy Thursday!

Can you believe we are almost half way through winter? I am getting so excited to be able to start shopping for spring clothes. Fun fact.. I love spring. I am holding out as long as I can to start purchasing spring items. Okay, now that we have gotten my favorite season out of the way. Here are some picks I plan to purchase form this site. I really need to focus on bottoms, but it is almost impossible for me to purchase pants online, that normally is a special trip that needs to be made to the mall, which I plan to do soon. Anyway, if you are in the need for some mid season updates I suggest you check out Shein. They have really trendy outfits that are at an amazing price!!!

Let me know if you all make a purchase, I would love to see what you get!!! together-with-their-familiesyou-are-cordially-invitedto-celebrate-the-union-of

My Favorite Jeans

Happy Tuesday Friends, today I wanted to talk with you all about my favorite pair of jeans. First let me say, I don’t have a lot of jeans. Actually, I hate jeans. I have never found them to be comfortable, I’ve been on the search for the perfect pair of jeans for years, and have never found them… until now. When I was younger, everything was too short, now I have to find something that flatters my legs. I have found a pair of jeans that are¬†comfortable. Sometimes, I even reach for them first when I am preparing an outfit (which never happens). I am sure you all have seen them a million times, but it is because I love them. Enough about how much I love these jeans. You will never believe, they are from the Gap. I have been a lover of the Gap for years but never purchased jeans from there. Until now! I love them because they are a higher waist, are a solid color, long enough. In my opinion I photography sort of short, but I am actually 5’8″.

Let me know if here are any jeans you would recommend. I am actually looking to purchase another pair and before I buy another pair of these jeans I would like to see what is out there.

I hope you all had a great weekend!!!!
