You guys, I can’t express how much I love thrifting. You can seriously find some of the greatest pieces. I found this shirt a few weeks ago. It is from French Connection and I love French Connection. They have amazing items that always fit extremely well with my body type. This shirt is an absolute score for me.
A couple of months ago, I was dying to try Trunk Club. I love the concept of getting a box of clothes sent to me. It’s like getting a surprise every month. In my second trunk delivery, these lovely pants were in the box and I had to keep them. They are comfortable and cute — my favorite combo! To top it off, these shoes are so much fun and they bring the green out in the shirt. I love this color and I’ve been dying to wear these shoes this season. I LOVE A GREAT SLIDE.
Sorry there were to post last week. I was so busy and, I was able to take my photos but then didn’t have the time to edit and upload them. Now it is time for the bounce back! I am here and doing what needs to be done to style outfits for you all.
Question for you all.. did you watch the bachelor last night? What are your thoughts? Being honest, it was so annoying. I wanted her to pick Eric, I could feel their chemistry through the screen. It was hard to see him go, but there was still Peter, then there was just Brian. Enough of that… here is the outfit.
Happy Friday Friends!
This week has been a crazy busy week. I am sure you all noticed I had a difficult time posting this week. Just know, I am here today with an outfit that would be perfect if you work in an office setting.
In the winter I wear a lot of dresses and skirts, which means I live in tights and stockings. It is always fun to wear colored tights for style and to keep you warm. In my opinion it just add a element of fun to an outfit.
I found this jacket a few years back at Target but you can find the current season here. The plaid shirt is from the Gap (similar here) and my skirt is thrifted, but is J Crew . I usually get my tights from Target which has an amazing selection of colors and prints.
You all know I am a thrift shopper… today I wanted to share with you all a few of the outfits I have put together recently that were from the thrift store. As well as give you all some tips on shopping second hand.
First I love shopping at the thrift store. Often you find clothes that people have purchased and for one reason or another the item was never worn but given away.
Here are tips to make your experience great:
Again another outfit with sneakers. I can’t express to you enough how much I have been loving sneakers lately. I actually am looking into buying another pair soon. Just waiting for that perfect sale. By the way happy hump day! We are halfway through the week.
Outfit story: I have had this jacket since college. I wear if often and I still love it as much as I did when I first purchased. This shirt is from the Gap quite some years ago, I just recently started appreciating it for how great it is! It’s so warm and comfy. Here is the kicker. I found these pants from the thrift store! Do you all shop at the thrift store? I have since I was a tiny little girl. You can find really good deals. The day I got these pants, they were having a buy 2 get one free sale, I participated.
I love to take walks in the evening after dinner, for fitness purposes and just to enjoy the weather. Here in DC in the fall, the weather can be perfect fall weather, it is really hit or miss but this night it was perfect. This light sweater is perfect for those days.
Yesterday, Frank and I celebrated our One Year Wedding Anniversary. We decided to keep it pretty low-key, and spend the day at the beach. Initially, we were going to go out for a fancy dinner, last-minute we decided… LET’S GO TO THE BEACH. As you know, I didn’t wear this super cute black dress to the beach, but I figured, if anyone has an anniversary or special event coming up, this will give you inspiration for your outfit of choice. When dressing up, I love to keep a classy look, all black is always so chic and you can never go wrong with it.
