WEDDING VIDEO!!!!!!!

Today I am sharing with you all, our wedding video. I went back and fourth for about a week trying to decided if I was going to post it. I thought it was silly not to after a while. We spent countless Wedding Wednesdays together planning my wedding. I shared so many details with you all, so why not the finishing touch?

Here is it, I hope you all enjoy it. 🙂

Just when you thought Wedding Wednesday was over, it’s the gift that keeps on giving 🙂

I recently had a chance to actually go through all my photos from the events around the wedding, I realized I have so much to share with you all. First up are the photos from my bridal shower. These photos were taken by Brian Adrian, to see more of his work . Don’t you think my maid of honors did such a great job!

Thinking back, causes me to have a HUGE smile on my face. This party was everything I could have ever wanted. It was classy and eloquent and I has such a great time with my friends and family.

Honeymoon Recap Pt. 1

As promised I am back with a post all about my honeymoon. The secret is out, Frank and I went to Hawaii, and had an amazing time. The resort we stated at was in Downtown Honolulu, above some of the most amazing shopping. One afternoon we decided to take a walk and ended up in Louis Vuitton. Overall, the entire trip was amazing. The weather was soooo nice, 84 and sunny every single day!

I decided to break this blog post into a few segments, because there are so many pictures I need share with you all and my server won’t let me (or I don’t know how).

Getting there:
We got to Hawaii a little later then we planned because we missed our first flight. It must have been 3am when I decided to book the flight, because I realized it was not the best idea to get married on a Saturday night and have a 7am flight the next morning. You know the rule that you have to be at the airport 2 hours prior, which has us arriving at 5am. So that didn’t work and and we decided (or had to) change the flight, which caused us to arrive later than anticipated.

Day One:
First we had to eat, dare I say, we ate at one of the most amazing Cheeseburger places I have ever been too. Quick back story Frank and I love to eat great cheeseburgers (well turkey for me) but if they have a Gluten Fee bun I am so there! After lunch we took a hike, up a mountain (I thought it was a volcano lol) the entire hike took about 3 hours, but it was so worth it! Look at the view, breathtaking. There was a small lighthouse on the side of the mountain, so amazing!

Day Two:

Shopping… As I said there were so many great stores in the area. So, how could I possibly miss out on all the amazing shopping? We ended spending way to much money in Kate Spade, but Frank insisted. Maybe I will do a haul on my Youtube Channel 🙂

Day Three:

We went to Germaine’s Luau, apparently it is a must do when in Oahu. We had such a good time, I would describe it as an amazing dinner theatre. With our tickets we received three free drinks each. Funny story, Frank and I went up separately, he got his drink no problem. As for me, I decided to leave my purse at the table, and had to jump out of line to go back to get my ID, oh and they had to give me a wrist band to let the staff know that I am allowed to drink. Slightly embarrassing but we do what we have to for a drink… I guess (lol).

Stay tuned for Part 2

3 Day- Getting Things Done

Today was a very productive day. Honestly, it had to be, we are on crunch time.

There are some days where we just feel so stressed and overwhelmed. Today was one for me. On busy days like today I like to keep everything organized. Keeping life organized helps me to not become so overwhelmed. Here are some tips that help me keep calm and carry on.

1. Clean. Starting things off on the right foot is key. When I start a busy day, I like to have everything cleaned. Cleaning helps me to be organized because I will know that everything I need is in it’s right place. Also, when the day gets crazy I know my space is already clean.

2. Schedule. When I plan my day, I like to use my iCalendar to mark off the time that I have an appointment, phone call, or to remind me to do something at a certain time. I also plan the travel time, if i have to venture out, it helps me to be on time.

3. Make list. I have been told, I order to remember things you must write them down. To me that is usually a list of what I need to do or reminders. When my day is crazy I will become absent minded and to avoid that make a list will help to keep me on track.

4. Double Check. Whenever I get a few seconds to myself, I like to double check my todo list or calendar just to make sure I didn’t forget something, and to make sure I planned everything out correctly. Sometimes just looking at the schedule or list again, I may come up with a more efficient way of doing something.

5. Find time to relax. If all goes well there will be times when I may be early or just have some down time. We all need some time to ourselves take a deep breath and collect our thoughts. If we don’t have a clear mind then how can things get done as efficiently as they should be getting done?

I hope this helps

4 Days- All Packed

One of my favorite things to do is pack for upcoming trips. I know most people hate packing, but i am not like most people! Something about it just gives me such a since of satisfaction. Maybe because I LOVE planning for things, I really don’t know lol. Last night I took some time away from the final details of wedding planning to back for the honeymoon. Get this- I fit a weeks worth of clothes, underwear, and shoes into one carryon. Wanna know my secret? Well here it is, PACKING CUBES!

Packing cubes have changed the packing game! I like to pack all my clothes into one large packing cube  and my underwear into the medium cube and any miscellaneous items into the small cube. On this trip the miscellaneous items will be my bikini and beach over up. The only thing what will not fit into my carry on is toiletries and makeup.

If you are looking to purchase any items for upcoming travel you may be doing this summer. The container store is having a travel sale.

Happy Traveling

5 Days!!!

MY HAIR DRESSER CANCELLED ON ME!

No shade, but this picture was taken of me last week and I don’t want this style for my wedding.

So, I had my hair dresser booked for about 2 or 3 months now. When it was time to confirm, her response was “Oh, I can’t do it.” WHAT, what do you mean you can’t do it. The wedding is a week away! I had to take a deep breath, stretch, do a few backflips and summersaults, then go into crisis mode!

Originally, the plan was to have my hair dresser here in DC come to the hotel and do my hair. Early on in the planning my stylist told me she would not be able to travel to me and it would be best if I came to her. Unfortunately, I will not be able to travel to her because she is to far from the hotel and I will be pressed for time and I don’t want to stress. The only other option was to get my hair done on Thursday afternoon, and try to make it last until Saturday, and it may rain. My amazing maid of honor is currently woking on getting me an appointment with her hair stylist. My fingers are crossed hoping I can get an appointment on Saturday morning. Pray for me!

Life Lesson- Always have a backup scheduled, just in case because you never know what is going to happen.

Wedding Wednesday: Our Rings

So over the weekend, Frank an I purchased his ring (well I did). It was so exciting. I got to see my wedding band with my ring and they look so good together!

Frank decided to get a Tustguan metal black ring. Which apparently is an extremely durable ring that will last a really long time. It looked so good. I wish I would have taken photos, but I was so involved in helping him get a good ring (lol- really I just forgot to do it!). I will have actual photos as soon as they come in.

I will keep you all posted. 🙂

Gift Guide: Her

Gift Guide: Her
1. I am so in love with my FitBit, there are times when I of course want to wear it I want to look stylish. We shouldn’t compromise our style to be healthy.
2. I have been seeing this Tory Burch scarf all over the place, I love the mixed prints.
3. A Michael Kors Conograph watch… enough said.
4. I love a cross body bag. Currently I have all the basic colors accounted for, but this mint green one will be perfect to add a pastel in the winter to break up all the dark colors, and a perfect touch to your summer wardrobe.
5. I have been lusting after these shoes ever since I saw them in target! They are amazing, but you know how it is to get sucked into the black hole of target. You go in for toilet paper and come out with everything you need to redecorate your bedroom. For that reason, these shoes never made the cut.
6. I light weight striped hoodie? Yes please! I love something light and easy to wear around.
7. I have an obsession with Leopard. I think that if it comes in leopard, I should have it! This bag, is so chic and will be a staple in every girls closet.
8. I love this red coat! Recently, I have cleaned out my closet and noticed I have so many black coats… this pop of color will be the best. So all you guys, take note. Everyone looks good in red.
9. I love anything gold and sparkly. This top is super cute for all our holiday parties coming up.
10. This parka is fully lined with Sherpa… I guess that is the warm stuff. But what ever it is, it keeps you warm while looking super stylish.
I hope this helps!
